We found this abandoned house on a country road near where we live. Unfortunately there was a fire here but it's not clear if the fire was the reason why this house is not occupied or if it happened later on after it was left empty. What we found was a living room and first floor totally gutted by fire but we also discovered this picture of a boy. I have no idea who the picture is of and I can't see a signature on the canvas but it is badly smoke damaged. It is however also very intriguing. As usual when we discover houses like this everything is left the way it was found and the location will not be disclosed to prevent any vandalism.
All images were captured using the Fujifilm X-H1 camera, 10-24mm f4 and 35mm f1.4 lenses. Colour grading was done in Capture One.
